Making pest control greener

We were green before green was in vogue!

We've not only made pest control smarter in our 25 years of business. We've also made it greener.

Environmental responsibility is now all the rage, with thousands of "eco-friendly" products aimed at today's consumer. Lawn & garden retailers are scrambling to label their operations and merchandise as "green".

Back in the early 1980s, our products were "green" not only because it was the right thing to do -- it was also the smart thing to do. Haphazard spraying of harmful chemicals was affecting human health and wiping out beneficial insects, so we came up with the more effective approach of trapping pest bugs.

But it wasn't always the popular or understood thing to do. We commonly heard the question, "Why would anyone trap an insect when they can spray it?

We knew why all along. Now, others are catching on. Harmful pesticides are being removed from store shelves to make room for trapping devices that use non-poisonous baits to lure pest insects inside.

These devices, however, are not created equal. We're the only insect trap manufacturer that has a world-class insect research lab and seven scientists who get up close and personal with the bugs to learn what makes them tick, buzz and sting -- and what will consistently lure them to a trap. The answers are more complex than food bait.

Knowing the nuances of ecology and entomology helps us create the preeminent insect traps and attractants on the market today. RESCUE!® products are unrivaled in effectiveness while being environmentally responsible.
